The Tyneside Cinema, the last newsreel cinema in Britain, was closed for redevelopment in November 2006. The red velvet seat, which were removed from the venue�s iconic Classic Cinema were offered for sale to cinema members. This photographic project documents the seats in their new homes throughout the North East of England.
